Davis Library Reopens

Graphic Davis Library Reopening May 15, 2022

Join us on Sunday, May 15th to see the new space and enjoy festive activities

Festive Activities

  • 1:00pm – Ribbon-cutting and Remarks with Mayor John B. Muns
  • 1:30–5:00pm – Enjoy bubbles, giant games, LEGO Engineering challenges, educational activities, 3D printing demonstrations, photo opportunities and fun for all!

Davis Closure

  • The library is closed until May 15th, so please borrow – and return – library materials at one of our other four library locations
  • Donations may be taken to Haggard, Parr or Schimelpfenig
  • Items at Davis Library will re-appear in the catalog when the library re-opens. Until May 15th, please designate one of the other four libraries as a pick up location when placing holds
  • Construction on the $5.3 million renovation project began in April 2021. Closing the library in December allowed crews to work faster and safer, while keeping patrons and staff out of harm’s way. As a result, Davis Library is reopening earlier than originally planned. The project also saved money as a result
