SNAP Science Explorers (Grades K-2)

June 11 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm CDT

Learning and hands-on science activities geared toward children with special needs, such as autism spectrum disorders, sensory integration challenges or short attention spans. Activities will focus on grade-level K-2 materials. Registration required. Registration opens May 1

  • Schimelpfenig Library on Sunday, May 28 at 2pm
  • Harrington Library on Sunday, June 11 at 2pm
  • Haggard Library on Sunday, July 2 at 2pm

Supporting Neurodivergent Access to Programming (SNAP)
SNAP programs are sensory-friendly and targeted toward the needs of neurodivergent children, teens, adults and their families/caregivers. Neurodivergent includes autism spectrum disorder, ADD/ADHD, Tourette’s and other developmental and learning disabilities. For more information email snapprograms@plano.gov
